Get the tasting menu it is amazing. Beware of no prices listed but hint, $135 for four courses of some of the most decadent plates I've had. The cocktails and wine list superb. Must valet so bring cash tip.

I've hemmed and hawed about coming here for years. As a self-proclaimed foodie and someone who's eaten fine dining all over the country, I wasn't sure if this place was just overhyped with tourists on vacation who enjoyed a nice meal in a great location. Well after years, I came here with a few girlfriends for dinner and I'm sold! We sat at the bar, with the option of ordering the four course menu or off the bar menu. We opted to order off the bar menu and everything was a hit. I ordered a dirty martini with blue cheese olives and it was delish. I was sold the minute I had the shooter of the soup. Best tomato bisque I've ever had. When I come again, I'm going to request a bowl of it. We had the lobstercargo as an appetizer and it was spot on. Lobster was cooked perfect as was the butter and spinach underneath. I had a tough time deciding what to have for dinner, but I went with the bouillabase. So glad I did. Each piece of fish was cooked just right. The broth was perfect. But really what stole the show was the buttered toasted crackers and the aioli that came on the side of it. I was in heaven. My friend let me have a piece of her steak, which was cooked well and it still had a ton of flavor. Normally well cooked meat is tasteless. And I also tried three of the dipping sauces. I could have had those for a meal in itself! There was no room for dessert, but next time I come I'm going to do the four course tasting menu. I am definitely sold and hooked on Beach Bistro. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

An amazing meal at Beach Bistro!! We thought this AMI restaurant might be overhyped/overpriced for tourists, but it was absolutely worth every cent. Impeccable (friendly, polite, and attentive!) service, a romantic vibe with gorgeous views (we were in the main dining room facing the beach and got to see the sunset, even though we weren't right next to the window), and delicious food. Worth every penny.

First of all, if you happen to find yourself on this island- do yourself a favor and make a reservation to eat here! Do not be discouraged about the price. It is a high quality restaurant experience that you cannot replicate at a chain restaurant or fine dining in the Midwest. This reminded me of a high end menu you would find in a large city or in a European country! Enjoy the experience that is a four course meal! This is a fun restaurant to experience! Now to review the food. To clarify, I have been to this restaurant twice! Yes, it was so good and worth the price that I returned when we ventured back to Anna Maria two years later! I dreamt of the day I would get to eat back at the bistro! The first course is so cute! The little pink drink is perfect! I wasn't able to enjoy it last time because I was pregnant. The tomato soup and bread is divine! For the next course, I tried the shrimp and lobster cocktail. It was perfect. It was presented well and the texture was perfect! For the next course, I selected the Lobstercargot. I had this the time before and there is nothing quite like it. It is perfection and the best way I've tried lobster in all my years! For the next course, I had the lamb. I don't frequently eat lamb, but this was divine. The port they paired it with was a perfect compliment! The bread pudding included in this dish is divine! For the dessert, I went with the praline! When we ate here in 2022, a small size of this dessert was included in the first course but now they have omitted that! It was still a high quality dessert option. My husband had the rum cake and said it was delicious! We got two drinks- the bees knees and a mule drink! Both were great. The service you receive here is excellent. We recognized the same greeter as when we came for the first time. We had Oscar as our server this time and he was great. You can tell all people work as a team here! The food was magnificent. When we return to the beach, we will make a reservation to eat here again! It truly makes our vacation that much better. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!

One of the best meals we've had in Anna Maria. We sat on the beach at 8 pm - right before sunset and were out there as the sunset came. The menu is 4 courses - you pick from different options in each course. The food is remarkable. Gourmet - made from scratch and incredible. Only complaint was our waiter wasn't great. All the other people were pleasant except our waiter. The scenery and food more than made up for it. Pricey but well work it.

Let me start by saying the food and service were top notch, 10 out of 10. I'm a pretty tough critic since I'm in the restaurant industry. My only complaint would be to replace the entire ceiling in the dining since it's covered with black mold! There's a large part of the ceiling that is covered with a black cloth to hide more old. If Shawn Coleta still owns the place and continues to buy up properties on the island, how about putting some of that money into your restaurant and make these repairs

This was the most delicious elegant birthday dinner I have ever had in the MOST perfect seat right on natural beach dunes overlooking the "ocean like " Gulf. Simple down-to-earth interior build out added so much to the small intimate comfortable and natural atmosphere! We have been extremely fortunate years ago to travel eat in some exquisite places throughout the country thanks to my husband's work. Beach Bistro was a big big surprise in tiny Anna Marie Island - - on par with the sophisticated 4/5 star urban restaurants we've experienced. Downtown Sarasota can not compete with this " complete package" ! I love to cook, love fresh spices, wines, rare chefs. Our selections from the " Four Courses offered" were so perfectly created. We each selected different courses to share and expand our experience- - both duck selections, Bouillabaisse, lobster-escargot , pate- - EVERYTHING was subtle, refined, wonderfully seasoned, and slow simmered for a long time to create deep rich flavor. TRULY delicious! The most perfect birthday dinner of all. Enjoy!

Great place to celebrate. Come hungry! Must get the lobster-cargot and the patè. I get different mains every time but always have an amazing meal, service and overall great vibe. Tried to come during sunset if you can.

Well this is going to be a little different. This review is across three different visits to the Beach Bistro. They have an awesome location on the beach. If you're thinking of coming make sure you call for reservations. You can be on the beach in the restaurant or at the bar. For those of you know me I'll always pick the bar. First off they have my favorite Beverage so that's a grand slam homer from the start. The staff is great. Everybody has been perfect. I've had three different bartenders and they've all been outstanding engaging and taking care of the customer Today I had the bar top all to myself . So there was no bantering with other customers. The bar is awesome as it looks like my bar that I used to have at the lake house. On top of that ,they pretty great bartenders. For this week the team of bartenders was Pat, Oscar and Joseph. I'm going to hate to leave this place. Wait a minute wait a minute Peggy's cousin is coming to visit, we will bring her over here for a beachside dinner. If you're going to come here you should take a look at the website. Here is the cool thing, I've eaten at several top restaurants over in Italy Paris and you can come here and get the same level of food for a fraction of the price of traveling to Europe.
